Living has always felt like a form of art. It is beautiful to live, and to live is to create – to be always learning and growing.
My worldview is a Biblical one – that we are created by God, created in His image, and are therefore creative beings. It was my good fortune to have come from a very adventurous family – life always involved learning – in homemaking, gardening, working, music – in everything really.
I pursued a B.S. Degree in Art Education at the Winona State University of Minnesota. It was during this time that I took a two-year break to enjoy a tour of Europe with the Army, and this experience provided me with an even richer education. After college and the military, came marriage, home, and a family. Painting was a random hobby doing those wonderful years – years full of their own busy creativeness. It was only recently that my husband encouraged me to start painting again.
Painting brings me great joy and I hope to share some of that joy with you.
